“Tafà” scholarship – IOC

As part of the regional project for the development of cultural and creative industries in the Indian Ocean region, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), the IOC has launched the second round of awarding the “Tafà” scholarship to contribute to the professionalisation of the sector in the countries of the region.

The “Tafà” scholarship aims to:

•Professionalise cultural actors in the CCI value chain: creation, production, distribution and dissemination in order to strengthen CCIs at the national and regional level.

•Develop academic offerings by strengthening the teaching staff in the countries and promoting regional training.

Please note that priority will be given to training programs that have an impact on equality by promoting the full participation and inclusion of women.

•Deadline for requesting clarification: April 8, 2026

•Submission deadline: April 22, 2026

•Provisional date for publication of results: July 2026
