50 DAYS TO FESTIVAL KREOL!

Today, the 50-day countdown to the opening of Festival Kreol 2026 begins — the 41st edition of our celebration of Seychelles’ vibrant Creole identity, culture and heritage.

As Seychelles marks 50 years of Independence, we look back at the journey that has shaped Festival Kreol while looking ahead to the future.

We begin our journey through the years with the 9th Festival Kreol poster, inspired by the festival’s enduring spirit: En lizye lo lepase, en lizye ver lavenir (one eye on the past, one eye on the future).

50 days. 41 editions. One Creole spirit.
