Heritage Week celebrations press conference

The Seychelles National Heritage Resource Council (SNHRC) this morning hosted a press conference at Domaine de Val des Prés to officially announce plans for the upcoming Heritage Week celebrations.

The briefing aimed to raise public awareness about the diverse programme of activities scheduled for the event, which is designed to strengthen national capacity in heritage conservation while also enhancing the international visibility of Seychelles’ rich cultural legacy.

Heritage Week will run from April 17 to April 25 and will feature a wide range of initiatives, including staff training sessions for site conservation, cultural storytelling events, and the launch of the “Tea at Three” experience, among other activities.

The celebrations will conclude with “Bazar Domaine,” a public cultural showcase that will highlight Seychelles’ heritage and commemorate the country’s 50th anniversary of Independence.
